What to know about the William Hill Darts Championship
There’s £2.5 million up for grabs this year for the tournament’s winner, as well as the Sid Waddell Trophy, and 96 players will be vying for the chance to lift it at the end of a grueling 28-session championship.
The tournament’s first round will welcome 32 qualifiers from the ProTour Order of Merit as well as 32 international entrants, and the remaining 32 entrees – the world’s most prestigious players – will join the championship in its second round.
