SecureVPN.Pro is one the fastest VPN service we have tested, but its price is skyrocketing, and that is why I don’t recommend this service.

With such a high cost, it does not have the technology required to unblock US Netflix, nor does it have a decent server count (only 36 servers).

SecureVPN.Pro is an extraordinarily expensive VPN provider and offers Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly pricing plans. I am going to discuss only its yearly plan. Here it is:

As you can see above, the prices are extraordinarily high. It offers 3 yearly plan and its basic one is less expensive than the other two.

I would suggest my readers to get the Pro yearly plan since it has extra security features such as Double VPN and change the location without reconnecting.

If you sign up to their service, you get 1-day free trial service. There is no credit card needed or your bank details. You just have to visit this page and avail a free trial.

Security – Encryption & Features

SecureVPN.Pro offers a good encryption i.e. 256-bit which is industry’s standard. It also offers a comprehensive list of tunneling protocols to its users.

If you have subscribed to its Basic plan, you can use the PPTP/L2TP protocol along with OpenVPN and Stealth VPN protocol.

The basic plan offers an encryption of 128-bit, while the Pro plan offers you an encryption support of up to 2048-bit.

Jurisdiction –Is it located in a 5-eyes country?

SecureVPN.Pro is based in Hong Kong which is fortunately not a part of fourteen eyes countries. That means, they are not obliged to share your personal information with countries that falls under 14 eyes.

Servers

SecureVPN.Pro review reveals that it has 36 servers in 22 countries, which are not many considering the cost you have to pay for it.

To be honest, with 35 servers all over the world, you just cannot expect to unblock anything and everything. But, even with such a short server count, to our utter surprise, it does a decent job indeed.

We find it mandatory to mention here that SecureVPN offers DoubleVPN on its servers on the Pro plan.

Speed – How fast is SecureVPN.Pro?

SecureVPN.Pro servers are fast enough to stream without buffering. I tested its speed on its US server.

My internet speed without a VPN connection was 32 Mbps. But when I connected to SecureVPN.Pro, it went down to only 21.36 Mbps (downloading speed).

The speed only declined by 56%.

Streaming – Does it work with Netflix?

Needless to say, it didn’t unblock US Netflix. SecureVPN.Pro has only 8 US servers. It is important to know that Netflix can be unblocked with these 8 servers out of 36 servers offered by SecureVPN.Pro.

With such strong restrictions, it is impossible to unblock Netflix with such limited server count.

It is an ideal VPN for those who are afraid of being caught for illegal downloading of Bit torrents and P2P file sharing. Although we do not, in any case, support illegal downloads, but users who want to download important files through Torrents can use SecureVPN.Pro with ease.

I checked for the leak test while connecting to its US server. It did pass the IP, DNS, and WebRTC test.

Trustworthiness – Logs and customer support

SecureVPN.Pro does not keep connection logs nor does it store usage logs as I learned in this Pro VPN review. We can assume that SecureVPN.Pro is safe to use.

Here is the information that they collect from users:

• Settings of the user account
• Banking information and fund balance

In their privacy policy, they make a statement that they store this information for the following reason:

“The data kept are used by us only for providing the Site and Service’s technical work, improving the quality of services performed and supporting feedbacks from users.”

SecueVPN.Pro has good customer support. Users can contact their support staff through Skype, Phone, Email, WeChat, Facebook, and Twitter.

Although they do not have live chat support, the response time with these methods is great i.e less than 1 hour.

No, I do not recommend SecureVPN.Pro.

It is such an expensive VPN service but does not offer features that justify the cost. It has only 36 servers, doesn’t unblock Netflix, and doesn’t have live chat support.

If you’re paying a higher cost you expect advanced features, and unfortunately SecureVPN.Pro fails to offer.

All-in-all, this isn’t a VPN worth buying.
