Massy United Insurance Ltd. has partnered with the Rotary Club of Liamuiga to aid families who were directly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, specifically those with children and in dire need of support.Over the next few days, vulnerable families across St Kitts & Nevis will receive grocery vouchers valued at $250 each, to assist with the purchase of food and other essentials. This donation forms one small part of the company’s regional community outreach initiative to support families impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
With the unexpected shift in operations, locally and globally necessitated by COVID19, a drastic impact stayed on the economy. As businesses closed and many breadwinners lost their jobs, this not only affected their household income, but also the ability to support their families. Massy United Insurance is invested in enhancing lives in the communities where it operates, and through this initiative, took the opportunity to provide support with the assistance of the Rotary Club of Liamigua.
