Probe continues into death of young Customs Officer

Basseterre,St.Kitts October 2 2020 (SKNVIBES)
HE police are still probing the death of the young Custom Officer, Andrew Douglas, who was killed at Customs House in Bird Rock by a single gunshot to the head.
The Police Force and the Customs Department have received backlashes for the young man’s death and details released by both entities surrounding his demise. One such criticism is the release of the autopsy report, which vaguely stated the cause of death of the young officer.
The September 22 release from the Police Force said, “Resident Pathologist, Dr. Adrian Nunez, performed an autopsy on the body of Andrew Douglas of Molineaux on Monday, September 21, 2020. Dr. Nunez concluded that death was as a result of severe traumatic brain injury caused by a single gunshot wound to the head”, stopping short of giving death of whether he shot himself, was he shot at close range, or if the gun used in the incident was fired from a distance.
