There is to be a Flood test (Announced) in the area of St. Peter’s to the Bay Road, including College Street and Westbourne Ghauts on Saturday, 10th October, 2020.The exercise extends between 8am and 12noon. Persons in the residing or conducting business or generally located in the vicinity of the Test during it’s initiation, are asked to pay special attention and to not be unduly alarmed.
Persons are asked to respond as they would in a real evet. The test is a collaboration between Red Cross, NEMA and traditional stakeholders. For more information please contact Mrs. Telca Wallace, Disaster Coordinator at the Red Cross. Media houses are invited to cover the event.
