Tabernacle Domino Club Thursday evening October 15 signalled that they have what it takes to be champions when they floored former champions Unity Domino Club 13-9 after a hotly contested first clash in a best of three encounters in the finals of the 25th edition of Constituency Number Seven Dr the Hon Timothy Harris Domino League.
The game which was played at the Lodge Community Centre in Lodge Project saw Tabernacle players take seats first. It started at 7:25 pm with Unity scoring early points, but it was Tabernacle who on table two saw Captain Jason ‘Spoon’ Nisbett and Ryan St. Marie win the first game 101-70. Simeon ‘Cuban’ Liburd and Davin Henry of Unity on table one took the second game 106-80. In a seesaw Tabernacle won the third game from table two and Unity through Antonio ‘Marsh’ Phillip and Everton Boon won game four from table two to tie the games at 2-2
